Late last week, the 2021 Military Police Regimental Hall of Fame Class was announced. The Regiment received almost double the number of nominations that are typically submitted and there were many excellent nominated contenders. Specifically, USAMPS Commandant Brigadier General Niave Knell pointed out that in addition to revised procedures for the Hall of Fame process, there was also a more diverse panel of voting members this year with experience in all COMPOs. This new process and panel produced outstanding feedback and results.

In the MP Corps’ almost 80 year history, over 1 million MPs have served in our Regiment; however only 99 are in our Hall of Fame. This equates to about .01%.  We are thrilled to announce that in 2021, the following MPs will join them:

LTG (Ret.) David Quantock

BG (Ret) Mark Spindler

COL (Ret) Robert Abernathy

COL (Ret) Arnold Daxe

COL (Ret) Thomas Keller

COL (Ret) Alexander Mascelli

COL (Ret) Herman Williams

LTC (Ret) Thomas Blair

CSM (Ret) Brenda Curfman

MSG (Ret) Daniel Andrews

MSG (Ret) Natalie Kindrick

SFC (KIA) Wentz Shanaberger

SSG (Ret) Gene Baxley

Our MPRA team extends a huge congratulations to these MPs who have contributed so much to our great Regiment! These MPs will be inducted during Regimental Week, 20-26 September.  An in-person induction is planned, along with a virtual option for those who cannot travel.
